Anthracite Chapter Scholarship Awarded

Each year the Chapter funds a scholarship at the Penn State Worthington-Scranton Campus for a student in the Building Engineering Technology program. This year’s recipient is Dan Michaels, who is also the ASHRAE Student Chapter President. Congratulations and good luck Dan, and thank you to all those who support the Chapter and make this scholarship possible.

Research Promotion Reaches $2 Million Plateau

Members First

ASHRAE on the whole, and the Anthracite Chapter in particular, exist for your benefit. If there is anything that you want or need that ASHRAE can or should provide, just let us know. Whether it’s programs, or research, or standards, or technical information that you want, there’s probably somebody at some level of the Society that can help.

Chapter Historian Needed

One of the things that ASHRAE tries to do is to maintain the history of the Society and our industry. Our Chapter has been without a historian for a while now, and we are seeking an individual with a passion for preserving the past to take on this important role. Please see any board member of you are interested in learning more about the position.
